Let's face it, our jobs at home can be hard and we sometimes throw self-care out the window. You get a whole new glimpse into the life of Rory and Joey, mainly Rory’s childhood. Reading how he grew up and the struggles he endured to the amazing man he is and beautiful marriage he had with Joey, gives me hope.
My Trip to Adele by R.I. and A.I. Alyaseer
This story is about three different people from different cultures whose lives seem to be falling apart. They all have different stories yet all three have this admiration and love for Adele. All three of these characters have their individual flaws but are also very likable and relatable. They each seem to be going through different scenarios in life that many readers can relate to.
Lottery in Paradise by Deborah Brown
In this book the girls face many adventures that lead to creative thought...in one instance they are are hired as limo drivers to retrieve a rich drunk girl and her drunkard friends home from break. The drive ends up being WAY more than the girls bargained for and way more than the rich girl's father could handle.
Is the book club online or in person?
This book club will be online for now but eventually will open up for in person to people in my local area.
Can an author request their book to be a part of your book club?
No, I welcome books from all genres! During our discovery call, I’ll learn more about your book, and you’ll have a chance to ask me any questions you have. Afterward, we can both take some time to pray and reflect to see if we’re the right fit to bring your precious book baby into the world together.
Do you have to be a housewife to join the book club?
No, you don’t have to be a housewife to join! Just know that most of the women in the group are either married, moms, or hoping for that season one day. If you’re comfortable in that kind of community, we’d love to have you—and I think you’ll feel right at home here.
Are books you review or launch only specific to housewives?
No, I welcome books from all genres! During our discovery call, I’ll learn more about your book, and you’ll have a chance to ask me any questions you have. Do you have a book launch team to help with the launch?
I'm currently in the process of creating a Novel & Mug book launch team. However, through years of experience with book launches and reviews, I've learned that the strongest support always comes from your own community. During our discovery call, we’ll discuss the different launch support packages available and explore where you are in building your personalized book launch team.
